This spicy option for chicken wings or drumettes makes a delicious party hors d’oeuvres or an entrée for an informal dinner.
Serves 6 generously.
6 pounds chicken wings, tips removed, or bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs, or drumettes, trimmed of fat and patted dry
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
1. Place everything in a large glass, ceramic, or plastic container or resealable plastic bag, cover or seal, and refrigerate at least 4 hours and up to 2 days. (The chicken can be frozen up to two months.)
2. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
3. Place the contents, including the marinade, in a large baking pan and transfer to the oven. Bake until the chicken is crispy, about 40 to 45 minutes. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to overnight.
