Ingredients
  • 4 filet mignons, pork chops, veal chops, lamb chops or 1 sirloin, t- bone, porterhouse or rib steak (all about 1½ - 2 inches thick and totalling about 2 pounds)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ - 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat broiler or prepare grill.
  2. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.
  3. Place meat about 3 - 4 inches from the heat source and cook for about 3 - 4 minutes on each side.
