Nectarine, Strawberry, and Blueberry Crunch

This is the kind of dessert I can’t refuse. Feel free to substitute different fruits or add a drizzle of heavy cream or a dollop of ice cream.

Serves 6.

6 nectarines, peeled, pitted, and thinly sliced
1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
1 pint fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
⅔ cup all-purpose flour
⅔ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
3 tablespoons light brown sugar
3 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Place the nectarines, strawberries, blueberries, and mint in an ungreased 8 x 8-inch baking pan and toss to combine.

3. Place the flour, oats, sugars, salt, and butter in a small mixing bowl and combine, by hand or with two forks, until the mixture is crumbly. Place the mixture on top of the fruit and transfer the pan to the oven. Bake until the top is golden brown, about 35 minutes. Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled.
