Simple Steamed Brown Rice
Serves: 3-4 cups
  • 1 cup long grain brown rice
  • 2½ cups water or chicken stock
  1. Place rice and water in a medium size pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to very low, cover and let cook about 45 minutes.

For short grain brown rice, use 2 cups of water; yield = 2 – 2 1/2 cups.
